Our 2022 restart

Updated 9 May 2022

We are thrilled to be restarting our wonderful concerts on June 27, 2022! There is no doubt that the last two years have been most challenging for every member of the community. In many ways, life was put on hold for most of us. It has been a devastating time for the entire Arts community.

We ask you to please join us as we rebuild our industry and our company. Now, more than ever, we need the support of our loyal patrons. We do not qualify for any targeted Arts-industry funding from the government and rely solely on box-office to survive. Without our audience, we cannot continue. Please join us once more at the magnificent Sydney Town Hall for our joy-filled concerts.

As we being to move forward we understand, however, that some patrons may still have concerns about attending large-scale events. We assure all our patrons that we are not permitted to go ahead unless we comply with all Public Health Orders as mandated by the Department of Health. In fact, we exceed those minimum health and safety requirements.

All Good Old Days Concerts company members and all public-facing Town Hall staff are required to be fully vaccinated in order to work for you at our concert presentations. Additionally, Town Hall Management requires all staff and patrons to continue to wear masks while on Town Hall property until further notice.

The Australia Council for the Arts research (Audience Outlook Monitor, March 2022) has shown that over 87% of Arts audiences in NSW are fully vaccinated, which is significantly higher than the national average. We encourage all patrons who now qualify for the 4th shot to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their personal and communal immunity, and help build increased confidence for all of us to attend and be a part of our concerts.

We cannot wait to be with you once more for The Good Old Days Concerts at Sydney Town Hall.
